The Short Version

Fencing that has to look after itself

Infrastructure sites are usually unattended, usually public-facing, and usually secure something that matters - pumps, switchgear, water, plant. The fence is the only thing standing between the public and the asset for most of its life.

That changes the priorities. Material and coating choice, post fixing and gate hardware are specified for a fence nobody is going to check weekly, in exposed coastal and wet conditions. Anti-climb performance carries more weight than appearance, and the access point has to work for a service vehicle that visits occasionally, not daily.

Public frontage adds another layer: the fence sits where people walk past, so it can't be a hazard, and signage, clearances and pedestrian separation all get set out before the fence line is confirmed. Where an asset owner has its own specification, we quote to that specification rather than substituting.

Unattended sites

Specified for a perimeter that has to hold without anyone on site.

Quoted to the asset owner's spec

Where a council or utility specification exists, we price against it line by line.

Service access sorted

Gates sized for the vehicles and plant that actually attend the site.

Public-facing detailing

Clearances, separation and finish suited to a fence the public walks past daily.

FAQs

Public Infrastructure questions.

The things people actually ask us before they commit to a job.

Yes. Where the asset owner has its own specification we quote directly against it and build to it. Where there isn't one, we set out what we recommend and why, so it can be reviewed before anything is ordered.

"Out of five fencers I contacted to rebuild the chainlink security fencing at Big Box Self Storage, Jordan was the only one genuinely interested in doing the job and was the most reasonably priced. Jordan and his team did an amazing job - just drive to the rear carpark of Harbour Town shops to see it. Thanks again Jordan and team."

"Wood Trades installed a patio on our granny flat. It turned out exactly as we discussed. We're very happy with the quality of work Jordan completed and will contact Wood Trades as our first choice for any future jobs. Jordan was very professional - turning up on time and leaving the job site tidy. Highly recommend."
